This is my favorite in the series and is the best put together adventure he did in my opinion. As someone said already Hergé maybe was wasn't being that specific or repeating those characters consciously. In the interesting of publishing deadlines or just time it was easier as an artist to use reoccurring characters.

I wonder, but could the lady walking in the front of the queue on the last panel, page 6 of Tintin in Tibet be the same as this one? Although the nose of that lady is shorter and has a different shape, but somehow it looks like the same lady to me.
(I've got a whole day off today, thank heavens, and I'm spending all my time on Tintin and this forum. Reading all the comics again properly.)
