I can remember only two occurences of that beverage, which is distilled from molasses, very much like rum...
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rum

- In The Broken Ear, aguardiente is offered to Tintin by a colonel (p.21).
see http://www.dogmael.com/tintin/img/oreil2.gif

- In The Seven Crystal Balls, aguardiente is offered by Alcazar (p.13).
see http://www.caroloscrabble.be/IMG/jpg/doc-26.jpg

- In Red Rackham Treasure, rum found in the Unicorn's wreck is savoured by the heroes aboard the Sirius (p.44).

Is that what you meant, kirthiboy?

Your first two answers are correct, Yamilah!

Just to make sure if anybody is having any possible confusion, the question is "Name the three books with corresponding pages in which aguardiente is drunk." Ignore the question of the topic which mentions about the ones Tintin drank!!!

Might be Don Jose Trujillo in The Broken Ear (p.45), but I don't have the book to hand to check, and it has already been mentioned...

Good one, never thought of that. However, there is no evidence as to what alcohol it is (unless you know of one). I am pretty much sure its red wine. But anyways, that's not the third one!

Here's a clue:
Aguardiente is the Spanish generic name for alcoholic drinks between 40 and 45 percent alcohol, meaning "fiery water", or, literally "burning water". So, it's not that specific. There are more varieties that come under it.

That's precisely why I suggested "rum" before!
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rum , under 'Regional Variations':
Cachaça is a spirit similar to rum that is produced in Brazil. (...)
A spirit known as Aguardiente, distilled from molasses infused with anise, with additional sugarcane juice added after distillation, is produced in Central America and northern South America.

Maybe you rather think about "pisco", in Prisoners of the Sun (p.1)?

Yep, you nailed it! One point for Yamilah.

Pisco is a brandy or aguardiente distilled from the white muscat grapes grown in two main regions of South America. Its usually referred to as aguardiente at lot of other places.
