To be precise, in The Crab with the Golden Claws, Haddock is named for the first time on page 43 (frame 5).

Namely not aboard the Karaboudjan, but in Bagghar, about 30 pages after he was drawn (p.14, frame 9).

Haddock was first named by himself, surely? (P.15, frame 12)

Yamilah and chevet, I don't think you are looking at the English edition. As Ranko says, his name is first revealed on page 15, frame 12; “I...d-d-do you know I’m Captain Haddock !” I think in the French edition he says ”Je suis le Capitaine” or something similar.

Harrock is correct, in the English edition Captain Haddock is named as such on page 15, while in the French edition he doesn't give his name until later.

As for the purposes of this quiz we follow the English version, Ranko has the correct answer.
