First of all, thanks to Harrock for providing a little more information on the last question. I must get those French editions...

Anyway, on to the question:
Which ficticious ship's name roughly translates into an ancient Greek musical instrument?

Album and page please.

The “Cithara” (The Shooting Star, page 40, frame 5). The name is derived from the ancient Greek musical instrument the Kithara.

I only know this because the guitar - or “geetar” as I prefer to call it ;-) - gets it’s name from the instrument.

As you say, the ship was “ficticious” because Tintin looked the name up in the register of shipping and found it didn’t really exist.

Typical clever guitarists...!

Us poor drummers would still be thinking about that for a while. :-)

Well done Harrock. We move swiftly along to your question.
