I admit that considering Jorgen's instant death as more tragic and actual than the demise of rather funny looking 1698' pirates can be seen as subjective!
Oh, the "relative tragedy" of the affair isn't assessable (not having a scale of deadness to plot against one of tragedy, to graph the results), as far as I am concerned - all that I wished to point out was that the death of Jorgen wasn't unique (strangely the only character whose corpse is drawn in Tintin), unless additional caveats and arbitrary conditions are added - and that is very much down to subjectivity, which makes the intial question meaningless.
