The BBC radio programme, Great Lives, featuring Michael Farr, was broadcast on Radio 4 at 4.30pm yesterday afternoon, and will be repeated at 11 pm on Friday April 13th. You can also hear it online.

Here is the background information for the programme, as it appears on the Radio 4 website http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/greatlives/

Tintin breaks all this programme's rules - he didn't exist, and he hasn't died. But photojournalist Nick Danziger makes a powerful case for the inclusion of the little Belgian reporter and his small dog among the pantheon of greats. He's joined by Tintinologist Michael Farr, and the programme includes archive of Tintin's creator, Hergé.
