Hi
Tintin has entertained us a lot,but do you feel if Herge had an opportunity to create more series what would be the title/theme?here is my list:
Tintin In INDIA-Where he can travel to Bombay and Kerala
Tintin in Kangaoroo Land(continuation of Flight 714)
Tintin in Antartice(exploration after Moon)
You can share your dream themes too

How about "Tintin in Yucatan?" Tintin could be trying to fight against Mayan ruin looters.

"Tintin on the Eastern Front" Tintin joins Leon Degrelle's Légion Wallonie and fights against the Bolcheviks in Crimea, for King, God@@@@@@ and Country. When he understands that the war is lost, he steals a plane and goes into hiding in Franco's Spain.

When one looks at world events over the last 2 or 3 decades, there are many scenarios that would be excellent backgrounds for Tintin's sense of adventure and concern for the underdog. Some of these were major news stories and some were not, since this is the age of CNN, sound bites, and spin.

A few suggestions:

1)Tintin in Western Sahara
2)Tintin in the Balkans
3)Tintin in Burkina Faso (Where he meets Capt. Thomas Sankara and tries to avert his assassination)
4)Tintin at the FIFA World Cup. (This would be along the lines of a Jewels of the Castafiore type story)

Hi everyone,

I like all your ideas, but here are my favorites:

A time travel Tintin,
Tintin and the DaVinci Code,
and Tintin in Australia

Here are some of my own ideas:

How 'bout a Robinson Crusoe sort of adventure?
I know that there's already been a stranded on an island story-Francis Haddock, but there's never been an adventure where Tintin and Archibald Haddock are stranded.

Also how about an "Around the world in eighty days" story? I know that Cigars of the Pharaoh seems to borrow a bit from this story already, but it would still be nice.

Speaking of "cigars,"
how about a Tintin book with more of an egyptian setting?

And how about a book that is entirely devoted to Snowy?

I like your ideas, Tintin_in_Arcata! I recently read "around the world in eighty days" and "Robinson Crusoe." they would make good themes for tintin books, and I think that they arew the kind of story that Tintin fans would go for. A more egyptian themed book would be great too.

Tintin goes to Washington.

I don't know if many of you have noticed but most of Tintin villains are either Americans or English.

The Moulinsart Vampire. Mysterious sightings have been occurred in the cemetery near Marlinspike Hall and the media circus has gone nuts in the town. Loosely based in the Highgate Vampire

I really like the idea of Tintin in Hollywood (sighs) so many possibilities

I know someone has mentioned this somewhere n the thread before but Tintin in a time travel adventure would have been pretty cool!

Tintin and Co. could have been transported by some machine of Calculus into the past to the age of the dinosaurs ... or better to the future where Herge could really have had some fun with predictions on evolution of mankind and the world.

Another adventure could have been Tintin travelling to Antarctica to investigate a hole into the earth .. since Earth is thinnest at the poles .. a la' Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

Also I would have loved the Alien encounter to have been handled better than it was in Flight 714!

Tintin in Hollywood! Now thats an idea.

And what about a story that Tintin and the rest goes to the North and South Pole,or a story that involves witches and wizards(yeah, kinda corny and out from harry potter, but it could work).

Tintin in India- where he would be fighting against the caste system and its evils.
