What if we went a little beyond that and invited Herge?

What kind of conversations would happen?

Great idea! I bet if he actually wrote it he would put in a cameo

Of course Herge would have been invited. The Captain wouldn't leave out Tintin's father, who "introduced" them. Maybe Calculus would build another rocket, and the wedding reception could be held at Thompson and Thomson's "Seaside resort" on the moon. I wonder if they would invite everyone, even the Bird Brothers and Rastapopoulos. That probably isn't a good idea, though, even if they are familiar with each other. I don't think that the Captain would tolerate Abdullah and Jolyon Wagg, though. I bet that even if he wasn't invited, as soon as he found out about this "shindig" Jolyon would invite himself. He'd probably bring some ridiculous wedding present such as a set of dinner plates with the Rock Bottom Insurance logo on them!

I wonder if maybe one or two members from this forum may want to be in the wedding? ;)

Of course!
BTW since we are talking about the happy couple, has anyone read Tintin and the Secret of Literature? The auther puts forward some "intresting" theorys about their relationship.

What is this? I'm interested...and I can only imagine what kinds of speculations are made about the Captain and Tintin...

But on subject...what about Calculus? Does anyone else think he would be crushed if he found out Bianca and Haddock were getting married? And what if she used his roses in her bouquet...that would be interesting.

Oh wait, I just remembered Calculus does approve! I seem to recall him congratulating them in "The Castafiore Emerald."

Wonder how Tintin would feel with Haddock married to Castafiore?

Aw that would be cute, but I think Calculus doesn't mind. He is after all a good sport and I'm sure if he thought Haddock was happy he would gladly give them his best wishes. Besides I think he more fancyed Bianca than loved her. I think Haddock loves her but thats just my opinion

What kind of wedding gifts should we bring, if we are attending? How about a bottle of whisky?

Count me in! Who do you think Bianca would ask to be her bridesmaids?
