Maybe his quiff would be flattened down to a fringe that looks like a modern emo kid.

Why would Tintin become emo? He's too...ordinary, or something.

No, he's got too much horse sense.
I do wonder if he'd switch to blue jeans. And sneakers?

Triskeliae:
Add a Bling -Bling to Snowy's collar.

You know, he might actually like that! He wears bows and crowns. And remember that sensational fur outfit from The Shooting Star? :D

I don't think he would have the time.

I don't think that Tintin would work in the Twenty-First Century, simply because even by the time of the later stories like Flight 714 and Tintin and the Picaros, the world of the earlier stories already seems quaintly old-fashioned.

Tintin's unusual in that although the stories absolutely exist in their own world like Jeeves and Wooster, they are also a historical record of the last century from the Bolshevik Revolution until the death of Mao.

In this respect, perhaps it is the ultimate triumph of capitalism and latterly globalisation that would make any hypothetical Twenty-First Century adventures redundant for if everywhere is the same, why bother expressing the difference?

Tintin belongs to an age of clearly delineated national borders, plus fours and telegrams.

Eventhough old fashioned, I think Tintin story somehow still relevant. If you notice Russian just start flew their hig-altitute aircraft to monitor US like the old days when the country is named as USSR. We never know that maybe they will become like the old USSR again.

Tintin could fight internet credit card thieves and scammers - he can go to Nigeria and this can be the Tintin in the Congo of this century.

I like the thoughts about what Tintin could be in our modern times...
Imagine what he could achieve with a laptop, a cellphone and Haddock sending e-mails.

Oh, here's a good question: What would they all prefer? Mac, Windows, or Linux?

Aurore:
He'd never have to worry about waiting out in the rain to use a telephone booth - he'll have a cell phone instead!

I actually thought of that once, what if tintin had a cellphone, thing would have been so much easier for him! Haha.
