Lastly, he would using a hell lot of gadgets giving one hell of a defeat to even poor old James Bond you see!

I think he'll just use some gadgets (I mean, just a few) that would be truly versatile instead of using so many gadgets. Granted that Tintin has professor Calculus by his side (whom we'll expect be making gadgets for Tintin), but since Tintin is usually minimally equipped (another way to say not equipped at all :P), I don't think he'll depend on gadgets a lot, let alone carrying lots of gadgets.

And I feel that Tintin will be more a casual private-eye-style detective (just like in the comics) instead of a proper spy, be it private or government-bound. I don't mean to say Tintin isn't fully suitable to be a spy, it's just not his real style, I think.

He would probably be tweeting every 5 minutes.

If anyone would, I rather think it would be Jolyon Wagg! Haddock would be getting spammed by Cutts the Butchers, but wouldn’t be tech savvy enough to send a text, or work out how to tweet!

I should imagine that he'd get the hang of it eventually, the question being whether or not he'd ever be able to text the person he wants to. An email to Captain Chester asking how his latest fishing expedition went would probably be replied with: "We are not a fishmongers. Regards, Cutts the butcher."

I should imagine that a reporter of Tintin's calibre would be working for the "Guardian" or "Daily Telegraph", focusing on real stories like crime or politics, rather than the complex love life of a famous actor like Hugh Grant or breaching the privacy of the family of best-selling author JK Rowling.

In fact, he'd probably be investigation Rupert Murdoch like he would Rastapopoulos.

I think he would more or less be like a male version of Christiane Amanpour and not a celebrity reporter.
