Who is the handsomest character in Tintin?

I'm going to concur with other posters and say when I was younger I had the hugest crush on Tintin, and I still think he's attractive. As I have gotten older I have come to have a greater appreciation for the Captain (especially when he combs his hair and wears a suit).

However I would have to go with General Alcazar as the handsomest (especially in Picaros). He looks like a movie star after all!

Is it just me or do a lot of the characters get better looking as the books progress?

Well in "Picaros" he was sort of based on "movie star" revolutionary Che Guevara.

Yes, Alcazar in his Ramon Zarate phase.

I think the best looking character is the Siamese cat that lives in Haddock's manor. (I don't even know what the cat's name is.) Anyway, he's drawn in a more realistic manner than Snowy (who is very handsome.) In fact, I think the cat is the most realistic looking of any of the characters.

I have to agree with some earlier posts that Alcazar is probably the most handsome character.

I think Tintin is quite good looking, especially after seeing the movie... but for some reason, I always had a thing for Haddock. He has his own charme.

I have that impression too. Once again, as an example the Captain comes to my mind... in "The crab with the golden claws" he seemed rather stocky but became more well-proportioned later on.
