Who was the guy who who kidnapped the Prince and drove away with him and the fakir in a car? Has it ever been revealed who it was?

It was him? Sorry, I don't own any of the books and haven't read it for a very long time. But in the Ellipse-Nelvana's cartoon. They left this a mystery. But I had my suspiscion because in the English dubbing the fakir calls him "master".
