南京路 is one of popular viewpoint in Shanghai.
She also found 太平路, 広賢路, 大吉路 in city map.
She infers 静安路 as 静安寺, 紫金山路 as 紫金路.

In Chinese edition, Japanese fixer Mitsuhirato have his name as 平野松成.

I feel Mitsuhirato is not good sound with Japanese.
平野松成 is much natural sound.
I read 平野松成 to HIRANO Matsunari.
HIRANO is family name. Matsunari is given name.

Japanese Alternative sound: 松成 is Shosei.
I imagine Matsunari as samurai or maccho man and
Shosei as Buddhist priest name.

I have never seen Mr.Mitsuhirato in my life and all novels/comics except Tintin.

Japanese family name database ( http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~suzakihp/index40.html ) reports the following result:

Mitsuhirato : Nothing!
Mitsuhira (or Mihira) : 三平(499), 光平(67), 満平(33)
Hirato (or Hirado) : 平戸(907)

三平 means Three flat lot.
平戸 means Flat door or city name in Nagasaki prefecture.

平戸 was trading centre in early Edo period. 上海 is trading center in China since 19th century.

In addition, I can not find Mitsuhirato Likely name from Japanese politician, celebrity or general until 1937.

So Mitsuhirato is totally ideal name.
If I wrote his name as Kanji, 三平戸 or 光平戸.
