WHOA, Jeeves!!! It's practically half of the book series! LOL! That's OK! So, I believe your top 3 books are:
Tintin and The Picaros
Tintin in Tibet
and
The Castafiore Emerald

Can't agree more with you two. The detail of scottish countryside was so impeccably drawn, and IMO it's head to head with the sceneries of South American forest in the Prisoners of the Sun.

Hmm I haven't seen anybody pick the moon series...

Mainly because of the constant tension that builds throughout the whole story. The setting's are just pretty, and it shows England and Scotland well.
And also because I'm British.
Plus Tintin dresses in a kilt, which I find very cute.
