Ah, Marsupilami! He had his own tv series back in early to mid 90's.

It's fair to say that the stories are reasonable but the characters are nowhere near as engaging as any in Tintin.

Nowhere near as sophisticated as the Tintin stories, but a lot of fun. I mainly enjoy them for the artwork, especially Valley Of The Cobras - Herge in his prime!

There were 2 major schools in Belgium in the late 40's, their leader were Hergé and Franquin and both had a lot of talent!

Brussels and Marcinelle!
