Lego has made a website where people can recommend ideas for Lego sets to the community, and I though a Tintin set, or a series of sets, would do well, especially considering the new movie. Support the idea here: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/7404
If the idea gets over 10,000 supporters, it would become an option that Lego would think of making into a Lego series. One of the strongest ideas of support I have for this series would be that it would expose children to the new series and allow for adults to show their children the "magic" of Tintin in a medium that they enjoy.

You might have a problem, which has nothing to do with whether Lego want to do Tintin sets or not: Kawada, a Japanese toy firm has already got licensed Tintin building sets on the market, using Lego-compatible blocks (the patent on the Lego connection system having ended). They are actually quarter- or half-sized blocks, but it’s the same effective system.

It thus could be that Lego is unable to gain permission to make Tintin-themed sets if another company has the contract.
