archibald_haddock:
The only action is like, Snowy chews up a pencil or something and it takes like 5 pages to resolve

Are you sure that that scene is in "Destination Moon"? I don't recall it.

archibald_haddock:
nothing really happens in the Explorers on Moon

I'm surprised because it happens to be my favourite. I love the increasing tension through the story, especially the race against time that they face trying to get back to Earth before the oxygen runs out. There are not that many science-fiction films or TV series that deal with that aspect of space travel.

Not able to make a list of the 10 best, but my number one favourite is definitely The Secret of the Unicorn.

That's good, I bet you loved the film even more then.
I have always loved Tintin in America, even though it rarely appears on any top 10 lists.
Oddly enough it's the childlike simplicity of it that I love, and the fact that Al Capone appears in it - the idea of Tintin getting the better of a real-life gangster!

I love every Tintin comic but my favourite book is Tintin in Tibet, because the great story teaches us what true friendship is.

It's hard for me to rank my Tintin comics on a scale of 1-10, but my favorite would have to be Cigars of the Pharaoh, followed by The Blue Lotus. Cigars is a great mix of Tintin being a reporter, and an adventurer. Whereas Blue Lotus was a great contrast by switching over to the city of Shanghai.

My top ten favourite Tintin books are
1.Tintin in the Congo because of its rarity
2.Tintin in the Land of the Soviets because it is Tintin's first great adventure
3.Tintin in America because of the number of villains Tintin outwits
4.Blue lotus because Tintin is at his best here
5.Destination Moon for the suspense for the next adventure
6.Explorers on the Moon because of the location
7.King Ottokar's Sceptre because of Syldavia
8.Red Rackham's Treasure because of the treasure hunt
9.Prisoners of the Sun and Tintin in Tibet for the true friend in Tintin
10.The Crab with the Golden Claws for who can forget the first meeting between Captain Haddock and Tintin!
I believe that each and every frame of Tintin has a story of its own so if one is brave enough and curious enough, one can dive into the beautiful world of Tintin.
