Do you know Tintin was published in Afghanistan, in the kids magazine Parvaz, in august 2002?
PARVAZ (meaning the take off) is a bi-monthly magazine for Afghan children from 7 to 12 or more. Published in Dari and Pashto, produced entirely in Kabul. 64 pages in colour, structured into sections like Sciences, Traditions, Games, Kid News. offer an amazing kaleidoscope of subjects mixing educative, playful and interactive content. Eight people work full time includingone photographer and an illustrator. The youngest is 13 an d the oldest 58.
DARI is the Afghan dialect of Farsi (Persian).
