In The Red Sea Sharks, Snowy can be seen on the third frame of page 14 with a piece of Abdullah's robe in his mouth, with a wagging tail. In the next frame, it's disappeared completely.
Was there a frame in Tintin magazine that showed the cloth falling out of his mouth, or is this just a mistake?

No, the original is as it is in the book, but it's not a mistake as such - you have to accept that between them approaching the front steps (the first frame, with the cloth), and being up the steps and in through the front door (the second frame, without the cloth) that Snowy either dropped it, or Tintin took it away from him. Given that we don't see it happen, it's a wonder that you didn't ask if it was a mistake that Snowy can be seen carrying it...
There will always be moments of varying lengths between frames in which things can happen. I mean if we didn't, you'd also have to ask how did Tintin get from the ground outside to the hall inside - did he leap? But we don't, because we jut have to let the action move along in static pictures, using our mind's eyes to fill in the blanks.
