6. What food do you hate? Italian food-I can never taste it. Give me SPICES people!

9. The strangest thing you've ever done?
Dressed as Captain Skut from Flight 714 for Halloween (I'm female and most definitely NOT blonde)

10. Favorite movie? I Shot Andy Warhol

11. Favorite actor? Christopher Meloni (the hot Sicilian-American guy in Law & Order SVU)

12. Favorite actress? Gong Li. Watch Temptress Moon or Raise The Red Lantern if you haven't heard of her.

13. Favorite travel destination? New York City--but not on foot like that one summer.

14. Favorite month, why? October, because fall's in the air and it's hot enough during the day, but cool enough at night.

15. The high point of your life? Moving to Connecticut with my mother and stepfather

16. What novel are you reading right now? Gonna replace it with a nonfic book: The Examined Life by Roert Nozick.

17. Favorite novel? The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

18. Your favorite music right now? Most anything, but I like most punk and Eros Ramazzotti (both regular Italian and Castellano versions of albums)

19. What are your best qualities? Knowing that I'm a capable, intelligent woman who doesn't need to starve herself or have this and that enlarged and reduced to be proud of who she is.

20. What are your worst qualities? I get angry easily, especially when people don't recognize the obvious right in front of them.

21. If you were a character in a Tintin story, which one would you be? I'd be a Tintin/Haddock/Skut hybrid: Tintin because he's a reporter and short-statured,but solid; Haddock because when I get mad, I fly off the handle; and Skut because I absolutely love flying, those cool jackets and languages other than my own--not to mention I have a lot of "gaps in my mind" a la Flight 714 LOL

8. What was your least favorite subject at school? Social studies and creative writing.

9. The strangest thing you've ever done? *snort* Y'know, that was a college application question. I couldn't think of anything and finally wrote about cutting my own hair.

11. Favorite actor? Not sure, probably one of the funny ones.

12. Favorite actress? Natalie Portman. She's smart.

13. Favorite travel destination? Hmm...Paris?

14. Favorite month, why? September, since then I'm refreshed from the break and ready to go again.

15. The high point of your life? I don't think I've reached it yet....

16. What novel are you reading right now? I have to admit, a Star Trek novel.

19. What are your best qualities? You're asking me? *grinning* Well, I guess I'm open-minded, honest, and almost always good-natured. I would never make empty promises, intentionally hurt someone, or do anything I thought was morally unacceptable.

20. What are your worst qualities? I'm a huge procrastinator.

21. If you were a character in a Tintin story, which one would you be? If you could cross Tintin (for his intelligence and morale), Calculus (for his nerdiness and geeky ideas), and Snowy (for his mischief, playfulness, and - ironically - human-ness), I think that'd be just right. =D

22. If you were a historical character, who would you be? Hmm...Marie Curie.

1. Your favorite nickname? Had loads over the years but no particular favourite to be honest. I call myself Rik when I'm on the internet for quickness but I'm not particularly fond of it. People who I don't really know (like people at work) shortening my name to Rich really grates me though.

4. What is your favorite scent? Is this as in perfume or my favourite smell? I like vanilla but i'd never wear it.

5. What's your favorite drink? Dr Pepper or Cherry Coke

6. What food do you hate? Mushrooms - the whole concept of what they basically are (fungus) is disgusting.

7. What was your favorite subject at school? Drama

8. What was your least favorite subject at school? German for my final two years, the teacher didn;t care and hence neither did I. before that our teacher was great and I learned loads and loved it.

9. The strangest thing you've ever done? Went to the Woody Guthrie Festival and managed to blag my way in as a visiting journalist from Britain. Spent 3 days with all kinds of bands trying to get me to give them some air time in the UK (I did radio at Uni so I did get them on the air)

10. Favorite movie? It's A Wonderful Life

12. Favorite actress? Christina Ricci, loved her in the Addams Family and have liked her ever since.

13. Favorite travel destination? It doesn't really come up cos I never like to visit the same place twice. I did love Yellowstone Park though

14. Favorite month, why? January, it's cold as I'm not really a heat person.

15. The high point of your life? I really hope I haven't had it yet or I'm going to have a depressing remaining 50 years.

16. What novel are you reading right now? Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, re-reading them all in preparation for July 16th!

17. Favorite novel? The Perfect Fool - Stewart Lee, if you can find a copy i'd read it, the first chapter is awful but the rest is brilliant

20. What are your worst qualities? I like to wind people up, i'll argue with people just to annoy them.

Probably Captain Haddock because of the quick temper, but having a good heart, would like to be more like Tintin though

C.S Lewis - he wrote amazing fiction and nonfiction and showed Christianity to be relevant to todays society
