13 October 2003 Frenchman owes new found wealth to Tintin question

A Frenchman wins the jackpot in the French version of Who wants to be a Millionaire. The million-dollar question: "In the adventures of Tintin, which doctor is it who tends Captain Haddock - Dr Rotule (Dr Patella, in the English edition), Dr Omoplate, Dr Meniscus or Dr Tympan?" Seventy-three per cent of the voting audience answered "Dr Rotule" correctly; but given Dr Rotule appears only twice in the twenty-two volume Tintin series, some suspect the show's production company of cheating.
