Harrock n roll:
Firstly, I can only apologise for the long-winded pontificating that takes up a large portion of this thread. What a lot of hot air! :-D

Haha not in the least - that's what keeps the thread going for 15 years!

That sounds very interesting though, I'll need to get my hands on a copy of the new magazine edition as I'm very curious to see the "official" layout. You'd think that he would have thought of this previously given how meticulously he researched certain aspects for his albums (including the maquettes for the airplane and ancient-alien type statue) in Flight 714. But perhaps he just went with the flow until he felt the need for it in Les Bijoux de la Castafiore.

Harrock n roll:
There's always hope that Hergé actually made one but I think to try and map one would be a lot of guesswork.

If he did, it would have likely resurfaced already by now. He may not have found it too important for the stories he wanted to tell. I once tried to do something similar for Tintin's apartment at 26 rue du Labrador, but abandoned it after finding several inconsistencies as well (and his apartment is considerably smaller than Marlinspike - I believe only a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and study are shown in the books - presumably he has a kitchen as well).
