He is my idol because he is everything someone like me wants to be like, I guess, because I do.
He is my idol because he is smart, brave, determined, adventurous and strong.

My earliest memory of Tintin was sitting in the hospital aged around 7 or 8, reading Red Rackham's Treasure while waiting for physio treatment. I visited hospital several times over the course of a couple of years and while it was nothing serious, Tintin was a huge source of escapism for me in such a stale and clinical environment. Even now, aged 31, I love to take myself away on an adventure with Tintin!
