Castafiore Emerald: Marlinspike Band

Hi,

Is that Cutts the Butcher who's the head spokesperson for the band on p30?
It looks like Cutt's actual image on p5 of the story but I'm not 100% sure.
Dressed in the clothes he's wearing are we meant to assume he's the mayor of Marlinspike or simply the leader of the band?

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, could not find any listing when searching the forums.
PS - Love the cameo of Mr Bolt, it really shows where his priorities are! I'm surprised the Captain wasn't screaming at him to get out of there and fix his step!!)

It looks a lot like him, same nose, moustache and side-hair. I'd say it is and the formal outfit certainly makes him very much a mayor. If he was just the leader of the band he quite likely would have worn the same outfit as the musicians.

This sequence is actually based on a real incident. Appearantly, some people had gathered outside HergÃ©'s house, shouted "Long live Spirou!" and gotten drunk.
