To mark the fortieth anniversary of Hergé's death, the Belgian publication L'avenir has spoken to Étienne Pollet, grandson of publisher Louis Casterman, about his memories of meeting, then working with and for the comics legend.
From being the slightly hesitant giver of flowers at a Casterman company party, to instigating the first dialect edition of a Tintin book, then helping Hergé with his fan-mail, M. Pollet has many interesting tales of his meetings with Hergé.
