Find two frames with a newspaper or a magazine which published The adventures of Tintin.

In The Calculus Affair, page 42 (see http://jeanpe.free.fr/tintin/img85.gif ), the title to L'Echo Illustre magazine can be seen in frames 7+8, whereas the cover to its 16 July 1955 issue appears in frames 10+11.

That Swiss magazine from Geneva published Tintin Adventures between 1932 & 1990.

Le Petit Vingtieme is quoted in The Soviets (p.1, frame 1) & and in The Congo (B&W edition, p.1, frame 2).

Is that what you meant, chevet?

L'Echo Illustré is right Yamilah.
With the rule of "The English corpus", I had excluded the B/W editions. So, there is still one answer to come.

- In The Congo (p.11, frame 3), there's a mention of the New York 'Evening' Press)...
- In America (p.46, frame 2), Tintin sells -among others- the Saturday 'Evening' Post...

'Evening' = Le Soir, a Belgian Newspaper in which Tintin stories were published in the 1940's, but I suppose the expected correct answer is:

The Portuguese Diario de Noticias, mentioned in Tintin in the Congo (p.11, frame 5), that published (in strips) Tintin in the Tibet & The Crab with the Golden Claws, in 1972!

Yamilah
"Diario de Noticias" is not the expected answer.
The newspaper is only pictured and not named.
If you want to find the answer by reading all the books one by one, there is a lot of work to do !!!
(I hope it will help you !!=

Okay, my guess...

L'Echo Illustré in The Calculus Affair, p42, frames 7, 8, 10 & 11.
Le Soir in Flight 714, p62, last frame (under Haddock's arm).

Well done Richard.
I suggest one point for Yamilah and one point for Richard.
Your turn for the next question, Richard.

It was a rather hard question!

I was about to mention the parrot drawn and mentioned in Italian on the cover to the magazine 'Tempo di Roma', in the Emerald (p.41, C1).

Parrot = 'papagaio' in Portuguese; local magazine O Papagaio published 8 Tim Tim's adventures between 1937 and 1948.

Yamilah and Richard have both been given a point, Richard for a full correct answer, yamilah for outstanding extra knowledge and almost completing the question. Well done. Richard's turn.
