The "Land of the Rising Sun" is evoked mainly in The Blue Lotus (Mitsuhirato p.8-C2, etc) & appears stealthily in original Tibet (TOKIO (sic) on the newspaper, p.2-A1).

Quote five other albums that also evoke Japan(ese) + the concerned page.

Only one I know of is "Cigars of the Pharaoh" p(56)
and "The Crab with the golden claws" p(8).

There's also Flight 714, page 22 - "an old Japanese bunker" and The Red Sea Sharks, page 36, where one of the guests on the yacht is dressed as a Japanese geisha.

Can't find the last one, though ...

Could it be Tintin and the Picaros p(54) in the left bottom corner you see a guy in japanese costume? Or is that a chinese costume?

Edit: I think I got it. It is The Seven Crystal Balls p(13) last frame last box, a japanese samurai holding a sword. Correct?

At the end of The Secret Ray (Jo, Zette and Jocko) someone looking similar to characters in The Blue Lotus are listening to Jo's radio broadcast. But I think this is limited to Tintin adventures

The answers are:
Cigars........Japanese man (p.56-B1)
Crab..........Bunji Kuraki (p.61-C1)
Crystal.......samurai (p.13-D3)
Red Sea.......geisha (p.36-A1)
Flight 714....bunker (p.22-D1)

kirthiboy mentioned the 3 first answers, and Richard the 2 last ones. Congratulations to both!

I suggest both get one point, and kirthiboy asks the next question!
