I hope I'm right on this one.

Book, page number and frame - When do we see the rare event of haddock smoking a cigarette as opposed to his usual pipe?

On page 25 in The seven crystal balls Haddock is seen lighting what seems more like a cigar than a cigarette.

that is indeed a cigar, cigarettes tend to be mostly white

Haven't been able to find the cigarette-frame but I found another when he smokes a cigar, though for very short time. The last page in Black gold.

OT: I also noticed that on page 19 in Calculus affair Haddock have a razor in his suitcase, guess he shaves some parts of his face.

Captain Haddock having a razor doesn't have to mean he saves some parts of his face.

He could be using it for other parts of his body, like for shaving his legs or armpits.

labrador road 26's first answer was actually only 3 pages away from the correct answer!

In The Seven Crystal Balls, page 22, frame 2, Haddock smokes a cigarette while listening to the radio telling only two of the 7 scientists have been spared...

Good question Stas, one point to yamilah and over to him for the next question.

Haddock also smokes one of Abdullah's trick cigars on page 9 of Alph-Art (page 12 of the new edition).
