Of all the locations travelled to in all the Tintin books, which has the most southerly lattitude?

(Note that I mean a location that is actually walked on within the narrative, not one that's only seen from space or on a globe or referred to in words.)

Name the book and the location, please.

In Prisoners of the Sun, the Thompsons are watched by South pole penguins (p.61-D4).

Well done - that's the right answer.

I was hoping it might take people a little while to remember the Thompsons' briefly portrayed expedition to the Antarctic, but clearly not, as you got that in about twenty minutes flat!
