Such tools can be spotted in The Soviets (p.53-A1) and in Explorers on the Moon (p.44-A2)

Where else can an adjustable spanner be spotted?

Looking for an adjustable spanner

You can borrow mine if you like. Have the wheels come off again? ;-)

Sorry I had indeed wheels problem with my car recently! (snow tyres to be put before the winter), and I wasn't around this week-end!

The answer was: in The Red Sea Sharks (p.62-C1), a kid holds a spanner similar to the one drawn in Soviets, in the center of the frame.

Don't want to be pedantic Yamilah but that is clearly a wrench and not an adjustable spanner!

Well a pipe wrench is a pipe wrench, an adjustable spanner is a different item all together :)

Thanks for those precisions. Anyway both Soviets' and kid's tools look similar, don't they?

Well a pipe wrench is a pipe wrench, an adjustable spanner is a different item all together.

And, don't forget, there's another type of spanner-like tool, which wears a frilly bonnet and a low-cut dress with crinoline petticoats. This is known as a comely wrench.
