Its well known that Calculus steals the show in a number of adventures he appears in. However, in one story he is not number one. Which story is this, and who is number one?

Is it in Destination Moon & Explorers on the Moon, where the staff at the atomic research centre wear overalls with their rank on the pockets? Calculus is number 9, and Baxter sports the number 1.
