I have been reading Spirou and Fantasio comics a lot lately, and I really enjoy them.

I have collected many of the books by Franquin, but I can't find Spirou and the Heirs (which I consider to be a pivotal book in the series because of the introduction of both the Marsupilami and Zantafio) to buy in English anywhere!

I was able to read it online in French but would like to read it in English.

First, I looked on Cinebook. They haven't translated it.
I found out that Euro Books had translated it. That's good, right? So I got on the Euro Books website. Not available.

Then, I got on Amazon. N/A, we don't know when this item will be back in stock.

I got on Abebooks.
Then, Thriftbooks.
Then, Ebay, where I finally found a copy of the elusive Spirou and the Heirs - in Arabic.

Any pointers on where to get this book would be welcome.

There's not really an awful lot more left to say - you've exhausted the major sources of second-hand books, so until a second-hand copy turns up, you will probably just have to be patient, I am afraid.

Euro Book releases were available in India, but never really seem to enter the wider second-hand market - I've yet to see one of their Quick & Flupke books, for example.

I imagine that the convoluted history of rights to Marsupilami as a stand-alone character (as laid out here by mct16) has something to do with it, so hopefully if and when that is sorted out, the album might be brought to English by Cinebook...!
