I had gone out to a dinner with my father last night at a Persian restaurant and afterward we went to Harvard Square to walk around. All of the sudden we came across this store that had posters of the original French Tintin covers on the wall and they were selling Tintin books and memorabilia. I really wanted to pick up the new Art of Herge book, but it was a tad bit expensive.

Would that be Harvard Square, Boston, Massachusetts?

According to Wikipedia, Harvard Square is a large triangular (!) area in the center of Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Next to Harvard University. So where were you ZGDK, Boston or Cambridge?

I'm not far from there, so the next time we're out that way, I be on the lookout.

Okay, today I found another somewhat Tintin-themed store in Northampton, Massachusetts. They have all kinds of things, from Tintin posters to action figures, postcards, books, model cars, and even playing cards. They seemed to even have a better selection of things than store.tintin.com, and it seemed to all have been imported from Belgium. Unfortunately, I was low on $ and didn't get anything.

Hi. Thanks for the mention! You are right to say "somewhat Tintin-themed" because we sell a lot of non-Tintin merchandise. We import a lot from Europe and from Belgium! Our store inventory in Tintin is less than what we have on our website and you are right again to think we have more selection than store.tintin.com. Be sure to check out our site shoptintin.com and our blog tintinshop.bogspot.com as we have the largest english language tintin site outside of europe.
