I have been unable to find any information about this wooden Snowy pull toy I recently found. It has no identifying marks, but it does look like it was mass produced. The snowy image looks screen printed. The back wheels have a metal bell that rings when wheel is moved. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t have much knowledge in this area, but I’ve a feeling that it was part of a range of wooden Tintin items produced by Vilac - a long-standing manufacturer of pull-along toys and cars, amongst other things. I think that would be some time in the late eighties or early nineties.

I think that there might have been an initiative by Sundancer/ Moulinsart to have Tintin “gift-shops” within other shops, as I remember there being such a place at the end of Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow which although a general card and knick-knack vendor, had a Tintin Shop sticker on the door, and a set of blue and orange shelves with similar wooden toys, plus book-ends, coat-hangers, dominoes and blocks etc.
