Identification Needed: Tintin Slides?

I recently found 9 slides of Tintin adventures, with French language text underneath the pictures.

I grew up with Tintin, but not sure why these slides would exist.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi! That sounds interesting, but you will need to give us more details before an identification can be properly made. A description would help.

Are the slides in colour or black and white? Are they single images in frames, or strips of film with multiple frames? Is there any covering, casing or wrapping for them with a name or other identification on it? Do they appear to be commercial, that is bought in that form, or home- or hand-made?
Oh, and what book(s) do they come from?
With a little more information, someone may be able to help - but anyway, nice find!!

Perhaps I can refer to this thread

Yes, thanks for that, FAsch! I recalled the topic as having been raised before, but I’d forgotten your tale of the exhibition and the mystery of the disappearing doubles!

These gum slides could indeed be the ones – do yours have text beneath as described?
