Tintin au Congo: Music box by Trousselier

Hi, I wonder if anybody could give me any information. I often rummage around in flea markets here in France and recently bought a music box which features Tintin in the Congo (it reads in French Tintin Au Congo). Tintin and Snowy are walking through a jungle scene, followed by 3 chimpanzees, one on top of the other. When you pull open a little drawer at the bottom, the chimps bob up and down to the music of 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik'. The winder is on the back and it was made in Japan.

I bought it because I thought it was cute, and although I'm not a particular Tintin fan, my daughters both read Tintin in French as it is so popular here, even in the schools. I've searched around quite a few sites and can't see anything like it so I wondered if it was collectible.

Thank you in advance for any information.

Moderator Note: Combined two threads
Site visitor, Chad, would like to know more about his music box:
I have a music box of Tintin Au Congo, made by Trousselier; it has 3 dancing monkeys.
Is there any value to this, and can you help me find more info? We love it...

Similar boxes date from about 1970; I think with the drawer in the base it was meant to be used as a jewel box.

I've not got an accurate way of valuing it, but I'd imagine somewhere between £30 and £40, perhaps?

A box (circa 1965) was put up for auction in 2009 - see Belgian auction site, Banque Desinee, Lot#100.
