Tintin Shop Kyoto: 25th anniversary celebration

Hi!
I was at the Kyoto Tintin shop the other day and they were having their 25th year anniversary sale! In honor of the anniversary they have these cute handkerchief cloths of "Le Petit Vingtième" showing Tintin and Snowy:
Take a look!

And it says at the bottom corner in English: "The Tintin Shop Kyoto -- 25th Anniversary"

(here's a close-up of the fabric.)

I use mine as a "furoshiki," or lunchbox wrapping.

I was wondering if other Tintin shops sell such items on their anniversaries too? (especially items that say the shop name and anniversary date.) Please share a photo if you have them. =) And by the way, would such items ever be collectibles in the future?

Thanks for sharing that, cakes200 - very interesting!

I can't be certain if other Tintin shops have done this or not, but I don't think so - so it's an interesting development. Is it something which other shops in Japan do to celebrate their anniversaries, perhaps, and the Kyoto shop is doing it because of that?

It's never possible to judge what will become colectible in the future, but I'd imagine that something like this will always remain of interest to someone, especially as it looks like it will be limited to a period of time - a very nice souvenir, however you look at it!

Update: Here's a link** to the shop's online page for the bandana, if anyone wants to try and order one.

I really like the vintage look of this one.

I would love to get my hands on a few of these.

If you would like to order one (while they last) and can't use the link that Jock123 posted, you can email me and I'll see what I can do.
