"Libération": Re-issue of newspaper marking Hergé's death

Two days after Hergé's death on 3 March 1983, the left-wing French newspaper Libération published a special edition to mark the occasion.

The front page featured a panel from Tibet in which Snowy howls over the unconscious Tintin and actually wails "Tintin is dead!"

Furthermore, the photos that should have appeared in the paper were instead replaced with panels from the books.

For example, it featured an interview with German politician Hans-Jochen Vogel who was the SPD (Social Democrats) choice for Chancellor in the then-forthcoming elections. However, instead of his photo, there was a panel from "Emerald" in which Catasfiore tells Haddock about how constant interviews are the price of fame. (I wonder how Vogel would have felt being compared to a large, feather-headed, whimsical opera singer?)

Libération has recently re-issued limited copies of this edition for sale.
The're available at the Libération shop.

(I'm afraid the only way to get these papers is currently through this French-language website, but in time copies may become available from English-language sites like Amazon or Ebay.)
