After many years of talk, suggestions and cajoling, Lego and Tintinimaginatio are finally releasing an official Tintin-themed set, and it is to be Calculus's Rocket.
This collectible (which in Lego-speak means that it will be a limited release, so it may be wise to get in early if you want one!) set is made up of 1,283 pieces, and stands nearly 50cm high, so it will be an interetsing project to build, and look good on your shelf or table.
In addition, it comes with six minifigures in their orange spacesuits: Tintin, Haddock, Calculus, the Thom(p)sons (who have been given their green hair from the story) and Snowy.
Finally, as a nice surprise, there is a little interior detailing, in the shape of a version of the rocket's control cabin, which is nice, but probably a little too small for the figures to gather and fly the craft!

At £139.99/ €159.99/ $159.99 it won't be within everyone's budget, but then again, it appears to be on a par with the pricing for many other Lego sets these days, so I imagine that that will be within the range of serious collectors.

Take a look at the pictures on the link, and let us know what you think of it!

Here's a link to the Lego rocket.

I like it. It's a little pricey for me but I guess compared to other official Tintin models it's a snip! I rather like the Thom(p)sons green hair, nice touch.
