Hello!
I am very fortunate to have found a seller with these very old Tintin dolls and purchased them. However, they are from a Japanese collector. I had to use a proxy to get them and so I can't ask the seller any questions since I don't speak the language.
I initially thought these dolls might be fan made but a reverse image search gave me a result that informed me this wasn't the case. They are, however, extremely rare. The ones I'm getting are in relatively good shape but Thompson is missing his cane and the tags are long gone. Rather than be attached, the tags were tied around the characters, so I'd imagine it's nearly impossible to find ones that still have them. I'm also not sure now if they created a variant where consideration was given to how Thomson and Thompson's mustaches would look or if you were expected to buy the same doll twice and sort of style the mustache yourself if you wanted the pair. I was also wondering if a Snowy did exist in addition to any other characters, or if these are it.
I would really appreciate any information you have on these dolls or if this company created anymore of the Tintin characters. There really is next to no information on them. I'm lucky I found what I did!
