Hi! I am Johan. I'm a Dutch teacher.
Being a Tintin fan for more than 50 years I only recently discovered this forum. Nice material. I already posted a few replies and discovered today I better introduce myself.

Hello to kohila and Johan! Welcome to the forums, and thanks for your participation – we appreciate it!

It’s nice to get a range of ages and experiences (and in Johan’s case to find someone who’s been around Tintin even longer than I have!), so all are welcome, however you came to the works of Hergé and no matter what aspect of the world of Tintin you follow!

Hello All...

My name is Bailey... I've been aware of this site and forum for some time, but have never actually participated. After following along for a couple of years, I finally thought I should pitch in. :)

I'm a Pharmacy Technician. I'm currently working in a couple of pharmacies... Really enjoying the opportunity to work in a medical field. I've made my home over in Oregon, USA. Kinda wet, but really green and lush.

I have been an avid fan of Tintin since I was old enough to read. My mother used to read them to me, and I have been reading them ever since. I currently own every album (in one version of another), and have read each one multiple times.

It's a real pleasure to be able to share something so special with other people. Every now and then I'll meet someone who is aware of Tintin, but I rarely meet other enthusiasts!

Thank you for allowing me to join your ranks!

Bailey

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here from Melbourne, Australia and have been a fan of Tintin for sometime. My inspiration to join the forums was finally realised after just seeing the movie today (which I will review in the appropriate thread). It's something i've been meaning to do for a while but just needed that final tipping point. But, I found it :)

Also a fan of Doctor Who, James Bond, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Star Trek and Sherlock. I can't imagine anyone here being strangers to any of that.

Hi! I just discovered this site last night and it looked like a lot of fun. I've loved TINTIN since the 70's--yeah, I'm an old fogey (almost), but that's ok, because I keep a young mind. ;) I have read 21 of Tintin's adventures and own 16 in English, plus two "duplicates" in French. (I'm not fluent in French but can get at least halfway through a volume.) I've enjoyed Franco-Belgian comics for years and also have other series.

Hi, my name is Jacob. I'm new here, but being a Tintin fanatic, I'm glad to have discovered this forum. I live just outside of Toronto, Canada. I have 12 of the Tintin adventures in English, and two in French. My favourite of the Tintin comics is "The Blue Lotus". I love Rastapopoulos, hence the username.

I can't wait to discuss books and more on this forum.

Hey, I'm Andrea from the US. I'm 11 almost 12 and a BIG fan of Tintin. My favorite Tintin book is Flight 714. Why? I'm not really sure. I'm also new on this website and I am also exited about checking out new forums. :)

Hi everyone

My name is Becky. I'm 19 (nearly 20 in 4 months) and I live in New Zealand! I used to watch the show as a little girl and never thought of it again. Now that I hear of the movie it has sparked back the foggy memory of watching it and now I'm really into it. It is my new addiction and I'm hoping I can see the film soon and the old cartoon movies and real life movies! My mum and everyone else think I'm a 'fake fan' because of the movie out. It's not like I ever hated Tintin, I liked it as a little girl and I thank the movie for bringing back those memories!
