A 9-year-old girl, Hilde Kate Lysiak in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, is covering news and publishing it herself, according to a story in the Washington Post from April.
I thought this might be of interest to Tintin fans because being a reporter in his early teens sounds implausible to many people. Implausible, perhaps; impossible, apparently not. (I searched the forums and didn't find any posts about this.)
