Tintin Forums

Tintinologist.org is the oldest surviving English-language Tintin fan site. Behind the scenes, the forums have just had a thorough overhaul to keep them going for years to come.

Done
* The forum software has been upgraded to the latest version of miniBB, and the server now runs the current version of PHP.
* Accented characters in old posts (French titles and names, for instance) had been showing as garbled symbols.This has been repaired across the archive.
* On phones, you can now watch topics: tap the bell, and find your Watched topics in the Menu. The top bar also shows who you are logged in as.
* The forums now go by one name throughout: Tintin Forums.

Coming soon
* A refreshed desktop look, with clearer buttons and text that's easier to read.
* The forums are being made more accessible for people using screen readers or keyboards. Some of the fixes we found have been passed to the forum software's developer and will appear in the official software, so they will help other forums too.

Spotted something odd?
