The official Tintin web-site has announced the that the BBC were present at the royal visit made by the King of Belgium to the Hergé museum, and have recorded footage and interviews for a special feature.
It doesn’t say if this is for a stand-alone documentary, a news feature, or perhaps a segment on one of their magazine shows, so British viewers please keep your eyes peeled, and let us know if you see it in the schedules.

It will be interesting to see what the museum looks like inside: you may be aware that there was what might best be termed a mis-understanding at the pre-opening press day, when photographers were asked not to take pictures. The Royal Visit seems to have had no such strictures, and cameras covered the visit.

See some Belgian RTL coverage of the Royal Visit here (in French).

Update: Here is the BBC item.
