A feature on Tintin in English, made by Danish Jyskebank TV. It was filmed at the CBBD (Belgian Comic Strip Centre) in Brussels and the Musée Hergé in Louvain-la-Neuve. There are some interesting insights from Willem De Graeve, art director at the CBBD, and Marcel Wilmet, the Studios Hergé spokesman.

Mads Qvortrup ponders over the multi million-dollar business, not to mention 'Rig' Rodwell...!

And there's also a version with Danish captions:

Many thanks to Henrik Harder of Jyske Bank for sending this in.

Marcel Wilmet is the spokesman of Studios Herge, the director of this museum is the Frenchman Laurent de Froberville.
Willem De Graeve is the art director of the CBBD.

Actually the Tintin comics are translated in about 80 languages included dialects, and not more than 100 as they say in the reportage

Ah, thanks sponsz. I copied/believed the information from the documentary captions, which said 'Director, Musée Hergé', so thanks for the correction. I will amend the above information.

Could anyone confirm whether part of it was filmed at the Musée Hergé? I didn't recognize all of the locations, because some of it didn't look like the interior of the CBBD I've seen (unless there was an exhibition I missed, or it's at the Studio Hergé?)

Yes, some parts were filmed inside the museum - notably the Tchang exhibition and the footage of the model rocket.

Hi guys and girls...

One of my colleagues did a piece on Tintin last year for web-tv, some info on the franchise and a quick visit to the museum. I thought it could be of some interest. So I'll just post it here :)

tlk1997, thanks for sharing that video. It was a real treat to see the inside of the museum and other such things. Thanks again!
