Spun off from another thread:
thomas:
Guy Dessicy (Hergé's friend and responsible of the first Tintin's comics in colour!!!)

With whom there's an interview over at Forbidden Planet.

Many thanks for posting this link, George. These reminiscences of people who actually worked with Hergé are always fascinating. That interview with Raymond Leblanc a year or two ago, (also in English on the Forbidden Planet site, and linked from this interview) was also really interesting.

I'll look forward to parts 2 an 3 of this Guy Dessicy interview tomorrow and Friday.

Yes, that's an excellent find, George, so many thanks for drawing it to our attention; I have spun it off into this separate thread, as I feel it should get the attention it deserves and not be lost in the depths of another topic.

Thanks Jock123. Sometimes the rules about what should or should not constitute a new topic can be harshly applied on this forum, so I played it safe!

The second part is up and includes a very amusing anecdote about Raymond Leblanc and Tibet.

We don't mean to be harsh - we just try to make the information as accessible to everyone as we can. Sometimes this means rolling a few threads together, and sometimes, as here, we split things up again.

What we really try to discourage is people posting questions as new threads, without looking to see if the answer is available to them; that’s when we pounce… ;-)
