For fans in the U.S., or those heading to the even, Weta have dropped us a note to say that they will be attending the San Diego ComicCon this week.

Perhaps the biggest comic and associated media event in the world, ComicCon is being held at the San Diego Convention Centre from the 21st to the 24th of July.

You'll find Weta sharing the Dark Horse Comics Booth 2615, right in the middle of the event's exhibition halls.

If you visit, be sure to ask about the Tintin movie - as well as any of the major films that they have worked on (Avatar, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, etc.) - they are bound to have stories to tell! And do let them know you heard about it on Tintinologist.org!

There is also a panel discussion about the Tintin film scheduled to take place on Friday, listed on their web page:

11:00-12:00 Paramount: The Adventures of Tintin – TBA Hall H

TBA means that the participants have yet to be announced, but this is such a major event that it is entirely possible that big names may attend - I'm sure it is not to be missed if at all possible!
