The Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards see Tintin being nominated six times in four categories, making it the most nominated film in competition this year.

The VES is an international organizations, with 2,300 members in 26 countries; hopefully this global reach will play to Tintin's strong world-wide profile, and result in success when the winners are announced on Tuesday, February the 7th, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Fantastic! :D Haha, the other films in the Animated Feature category don't even come close.

I don't know very much about visual effects, but I hope Unicorn doesn't look dated to future audiences ... hopefully it will retain that 'classic' feel. I'm sure Spielberg took this into account.
