Anyone who has read Tintin in Tibet knows the Captain had some whisky-related "issues" in the Himalayas, as well as all the other difficulties that the party had to overcome on their adventures.

Tonight Everest base camp plays host to another team of bold adventurers from Walking with the Wounded, a charity providing much-needed support for wounded ex-service people to help them after they leave the armed forces.

This band would have attempted to reach the summit of Everest with five wounded personnel, had the weather not prevented them from doing so.

Hopefully no yetis will gate-crash the party!

Tonight they will be taking part in a live hook-up with London for a whisky tasting event (the highest ever undertaken!), hosted by Jamie Milne of Glenfiddich.

You can watch the live video coverage on this link from 19:00 BST. There are details of the tasting event, and a button to allow you to donate to the work of the charity of you would like to help.
