Are there any upcoming Tintin conferences?

I understand that there was 'The World of Tintin' conference way back in 2004.

Apparently there was an online talk, at which Michael Farr was also a guest in 2021.

There is one coming lecture by a J.P. Chaboche as part of the Foyer Brénais activities about the inspiration for Hergé in his albums. Not sure about the details for this one, other than it taking place in La Brée-les-Bains, France, come July this year. There are very few details on the Oleron Island website.

Have you heard of any plans for other conferences or similar events, either online or in person?

Well it seems that Les Amis d'Hergé have at least an annual gathering with their most recent conference held on March 7, 2026.

Here's the direct link to their program, if I may be so bold as to share it here: https://www.lesamisdeherge.com/documents/programme_41.pdf

Is anyone here a member of Les Amis d'Hergé?

A pity they do not hold events in Australia, where I am! All the best (and only) events seem to be within the EU.
